These terms cover the use of epicbench.com. The site is editorial: it describes free Android games, it does not distribute them and it has no commercial relationship with the studios that make them.

What this site is

EpicBench publishes notes written by its own desk after installing each game from Google Play and playing it on hardware we own. Every judgement on these pages is opinion — considered, dated, and open to correction, but opinion. Nothing here is advice, and nothing here is a guarantee about how a game will behave on your device.

What we do not take

• No advertising is shown on this site and no space on it is for sale.
• No developer pays to appear here, and no listing can be bought, sponsored or arranged.
• The links to Google Play are ordinary links: they carry no tracking of ours and return nothing to us.
• The bench, the handsets and the hosting are funded by the desk that runs the site.

If that ever changes, it will be written on this page before it is true anywhere else on the site.

Figures and accuracy

Ratings are copied from the Google Play listing for Ireland on the date printed beside them. Store scores move daily, versions ship, and a game can change character in an update. Treat every number here as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent fact, and check the store page before you install anything.

No affiliation

EpicBench is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the developers named on these pages. Game titles, icons, screenshots and other marks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and comment. The written notes, the layout and the code of this site belong to EpicBench.

Links to other sites

Where a page links outwards — to Google Play in almost every case — that destination has its own terms and its own privacy practices, over which we have no control and for which we take no responsibility.

Availability

The site is offered as it stands. We do not promise it will be reachable at any particular moment, and we may add, rewrite or remove a note at any time. To the extent Irish law permits, we exclude liability for loss arising from the use of, or the inability to use, these pages.

Nothing is sold here

No transaction takes place on this site, so no contract of sale arises between you and us. Statutory consumer protection under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 is unaffected by anything written above; general information for consumers in Ireland is published by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
